It is with great pride and pleasure that we introduce
The Whole Human Race as seen through the minds of the brilliant students from St. Angela Merici School in Fairview Park, Ohio.
When asked to imagine the world through the words of this book they did so with excitement,
thoughtfulness and empathy! We thank them for their vision and excellent
creations. Our hope is that the message of The Whole Human Race will become a part
of who they are as they grow into the world around them.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to SAMS Principal Mrs. Christine Bopp and the teachers and staff who enabled and embraced the facilitation of The Whole Human Race, Imagine The World Project.
We would like to especially thank Mrs. Kristin Thompson-Smith for taking on this project and allowing her classroom to become a place to explore diversity, unity and individuality through artistic expression, engagement and empathy. It is truly a reflection of who she is and we are so grateful for her spirit and generosity.
— Sincerely, Tim McFadden and Laura Seelie
Lastly, I want to thank Mrs. Laura Seelie, my Imagine The World Project co-creator, from the bottom of my heart. Not only do we share our heritage but we share a vision grounded in good - that regardless of our differences we are all a part of what’s beautiful about the whole human race. She is an inspiration, bringing the project to life and shaping its direction with ideas, love and enthusiasm as we imagine the world through the minds of kids everywhere!
